1. No Attorney-Client Relationship

  • Cornerstone Paralegal Group provides paralegal services exclusively to licensed Florida attorneys. We are not a law firm and do not provide legal advice to the general public.

  • No attorney-client relationship is formed between you and Cornerstone Paralegal Group by using our Services.

  • Any legal work performed is under the supervision and direction of a licensed Florida attorney.

2. Use of Services

  • Our Services are only available to attorneys in good standing with The Florida Bar.

  • You agree to comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and professional conduct rules when using our Services.

  • We reserve the right to decline or terminate services at our discretion if we determine that a request is improper, unethical, or violates our policies.

3. Payment & Fees

  • Payments are due immediately and must be paid before work begins.

  • Failure to pay invoices upon receipt may result in delays, suspension, or termination of Services.

  • All payments for services are non-refundable.

  • Plans are billed on a monthly basis and renew automatically unless canceled.

  • Credits expire at the end of each billing cycle and do not roll over except as explicitly permitted (maximum of two rollovers in six months).

4. Confidentiality & Data Protection

  • We take reasonable measures to maintain confidentiality but cannot guarantee absolute security.

  • Attorneys using our Services are responsible for ensuring compliance with confidentiality rules and professional obligations.

  • Cornerstone is not responsible for unauthorized data access, cyberattacks, or security breaches beyond our control.

5. No Guarantee of Outcomes

  • We make no guarantees regarding the success or outcome of any legal matter for which our Services are used.

  • You acknowledge that results depend on various factors beyond our control.

6. Limitation of Liability

  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cornerstone Paralegal Group, its owners, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from the use of our Services, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

  • Our total liability for any claim related to the Services shall not exceed the total fees paid by you in the six (6) months preceding the claim.

7. Indemnification

  • You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Cornerstone Paralegal Group from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses (including attorney’s fees) arising from:

    • Your use of our Services;

    • Your failure to comply with these Terms;

    • Any claim by a third party, including clients, arising from work product produced through our Services.

8. Intellectual Property

  • All content on our website, including logos, text, graphics, and proprietary materials, is owned by or licensed to Cornerstone Paralegal Group and may not be used without permission.

9. Non-Solicitation of Contractors

  • You acknowledge that Cornerstone has invested significant resources in recruiting and training its paralegals.

  • You agree that during your use of the Services and for one (1) year thereafter, you will not directly or indirectly solicit, hire, or retain any contractor employed by Cornerstone.

  • If you breach this provision and solicit a contractor away from Cornerstone, you agree to pay liquidated damages equal to twelve (12) months of the contractor's most recent compensation at Cornerstone, reflecting the costs of recruitment, training, and lost business.

10. Privacy Policy

  • We collect, store, and use personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which outlines how we handle user information.

  • By using our Services, you consent to our data practices as described in our Privacy Policy.

  • We do not sell or share user data with third parties, except as necessary to provide services or comply with legal obligations.

11. Cookie Policy

  • Our website uses cookies to enhance user experience and track website performance.

  • Cookies are small text files stored on your device that help us improve website functionality and analyze site traffic.

12. Refund & Cancellation Policy

  • All payments for services are non-refundable.

  • Clients may cancel their plan at any time without prior written notice.

  • Unused service credits do not roll over and are nonrefundable unless explicitly stated in writing by Cornerstone.

13. Acceptable Use Policy

  • Users must not misuse the website or services in any way that violates laws, regulations, or ethical guidelines.

  • Prohibited activities include hacking, harassment, defamation, spamming, and any unlawful conduct.

14. Disclaimer

15. Jurisdiction & Venue

  • Any claims that are not subject to arbitration must be litigated in a state or federal court located in Duval County, Florida.

16. Electronic Communications & Consent

  • By using our Services, you consent to receiving communications from us electronically, including invoices, service updates, and legal notices.

17. Modification & Waiver

  • Failure to enforce any provision of these Terms does not waive the right to enforce it later.

18. Survival Clause

  • The provisions related to confidentiality, indemnification, non-solicitation, limitation of liability, dispute resolution, and intellectual property shall survive the termination of these Terms.
